Felus is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
This policy applies to all business activities and applies to anyone working for or on behalf of Felus.
What is bribery?
Bribery is offering, promising, giving, accepting, or soliciting an advantage as an inducement for an action which is illegal, unethical, or a breach of trust.
Examples include:
- Offering money or gifts to secure business
- Accepting money or gifts in exchange for providing favourable treatment
- Using third parties to make or receive improper payments
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Offer, promise, or give a bribe
- Request, agree to receive, or accept a bribe
- Bribe a foreign public official
- Use third parties to bribe on your behalf
Gifts and hospitality
Modest and reasonable gifts and hospitality are acceptable as part of normal business relationships, provided they:
- Are not intended to influence a business decision
- Are proportionate and appropriate
- Are transparent and properly recorded
- Would not cause embarrassment if made public
Cash or cash equivalents (gift cards, vouchers) must never be given or accepted.
Conflicts of interest
We require transparency about any situations that could create a conflict of interest. If you have a personal or financial interest that could influence a business decision, this must be disclosed.
Reporting concerns
If you suspect or become aware of any bribery or corruption, or have concerns about any conduct, you must report it immediately to [email protected].
All reports will be taken seriously, investigated, and treated confidentially.
Consequences of breaching this policy
Bribery is a serious criminal offence. Breaches of this policy may result in disciplinary action, termination of business relationships, and reporting to relevant authorities.
